My memory of the town names is somewhat unclear, but I think this is Monterossa.  The tunnel you speak of is in Monterossa and it can be a hazard since auto traffic comes through it too.  Glad you like the photo, Maggie!

i love lines!  and Cinque Terre!  i visited a friend/exchange student there after high school.  i'm looking at your photos, and they are great!

This is the train platform in Cinque Terre.  The train tunnels were built by Mussolini.
