If you are ever in the area let me know and I'd be happy to give you a tour.  It's locked, but I'm on the stone barn committee.

If walls could talk :-)   This barn was once owned by one of the most famous surgeon/physicians in Wisconsin during the early 1900's, Doc Minahan (John R Miniahan).  He had a huge farm across the road at the time the barn was built in 1903 and he is rumored to have helped finance the stone barn when it was built - he was also one of the wealthiest men in WI at that time.  He apparently had a passion for the barn because he owned it at two different times later in life; once for two years after a sheriff's sale, and then for 6 years not long before he passed away.  He also had a brother that died in the Titanic crossing in 1912.

I was meeting a professional photographer there that morning.  She asked that I be there around 5:30 am because she loved to take photos in the morning sunrise light.  The sun had just come up and I was amazed at how different the lighting is at that time of day.
