It is a relaxing scene, now that you mention it!  To give it some context, you find it after wandering a short while through an elfin forest. There is a little sign to the beach and when you emerge you find probably about a one-half mile stretch of this crazy landscape.  It is so foreign that it feels other-worldly.  The rock is a limestone composite created by a massive decayed coral reef.  It is a place where one could sit for hours, I think.  The folks around this area live a pretty simple life, mostly fisherman and folks catering to visitors to the national park.  This particular hike was recommended by a housekeeper who spoke in a lovely brogue.
