Why thank you, Lisa!  I do like this shot very much and I haven't looked at it in quite a long time.  This photo was taken at the ice caves near Bayfield Wisconsin.  They are very beautiful and the cold is usually quite extreme.  Maggie, I use Photoscape and the correction you see here is a few degrees of added backlighting along with a contrast enhancement. I left the colors just as they were. I'm happy that you all like it! :-)

Truly.  Neat how the palette is nearly uniform except for the sky with the rock face and its shadow creating an opening onto that icy vastness.  I've kayaked Superior once as far as the Apostle Islands.  Even in summer, I felt the cold of the lake through my kayak!  What correction did you use on this?
