I believe that she does and he serves as a reminder to her of just how freakin' weird her oldest son can be.  I come from a family of black sheep and we tend to celebrate our oddities(?) rather than hide them.  It can be very interesting to get more than 2, but as many as 5 of us together at once.  We always have a blast! :-)

He is indeed a manifestation of the infamous Frog With Wings.  This is but another of the several drawings I have made of him over the years. This one hangs in my parents home and I apologize for the quality of the photograph, but he's been hanging there a long time and the sketch paper is starting to wrinkle a bit.  Me too.   Anyway, Ehf ( short for Ehfahrohgee), as he's known among his friends is still a amphibian, so he does still spend some time in the water, but has to get out once in awhile to dry his wings.  My mother actually tried to give this sketch back to me over Christmas, but I knew her heart wasn't in it, so I left it where it was for, I hope, a great many more years.  I've got 2 or 3 more sketches back in my photos here on Wiffledust and you can also see them on my Frog With Wings page on Facebook.  Glad you like him!
