All we can do is keep trying to enlighten people and that means educating them.  Ignorance is one thing and obtuseness is quite another.

agree agree agree ... fear is cancer  I pray we can heal sooner than later. Love the photo and how it speaks of true diversity. Too bad so many are deaf and blind

Thanks, Maggie!  Yeah, Lisa, I do remember.  We are a lessened people to show our xenophobia so easily.  I know it's based in fear, but we seem to do it so very easily.  It is a sad commentary.

Thanks, Lisa!  I felt that it was quite appropriate considering the recent turn of events.  Like the Imams that were ejected from a flight by the pilot for no other apparent reason other than they were Muslims.  It is just not right and it pisses me off and saddens me at the same time.

In light of the bigotry that tends to surround the Muslim faith in our country, I would like to present this rather poignant photograph.  We are all of different races,creeds and religions, yet we all live in this wonderful country together.  May we all try to live in peace!
