This is the frontal facade of the Duomo in Florence (Firenze) Italy.  I also have a wonderful shot entitled "Storm Over Firenze" which I took from the top of the dome of this cathedral. This angle was achieved by me laying nearly flat on my back in the street. I don't really recommend trying it though. ;-)

wow...this angle shows of the incredible detail. i would never capture all that from the street. can you imagine the work and love that goes into all of that????
