Thank you Carla :-) I love vines and leaves and when I look at a gourd that is mostly what I see! The dragonfly gourd was my second ever and I made it for my sister .. I should try to do another for myself because that gourd is one of my favorites

This, the dragonfly & the Ginko are my favorites. Your work us lovely. I especially like how much of the nature you keep in it!

Thank you but the credit must go to the gourd herself :-) Each gourd is so unique that I never get the same results and really can't anticipate what my colors will look like! The gourd is marked with blemishes created by molds and the surface can be different from one spot to the next and the gourds natural color is subtle in difference from one area to the next and all these factors are what gives the gourd its look :-) So, as mentioned the credit goes to the gourd for this beautiful display of color ... I was just her "hand" maiden :-)
