This was shot at a local lawn-bowling green in Lakeside Park here in Milwaukee.  I confess that I've never encountered this particular sport before.  I'm familiar with Bocce Ball, but that is strictly forbidden on these greens.  These balls are custom made and the "bias" is part of the weighting and balance which allows for more finesse when rolling the ball on the green during play.  The mat to the right is also part of the gear used.
