No, I didn't get into the water at all.  It was in October, but there were many people swimming and kayaking.  I've posted a few more shots of that area.  You should check out my photo "Back to the Sea" 

  I want to get back there very soon also.  As you said, maybe next year.  We've a standing invite to go back to Orvieto and help out on our friend Claudio's archaeological dig.  I can only hope that we get to take him up on it.
