This was a very narrow alleyway off of a back canal.  There was some debris along the canal not far from here. Definitely some destruction going on, but through it all, Venice endures.

i am sitting in the middle of snow and ice, and this warmth is so beautiful to me right now! i love the brick and metal, and the vertical peekaboo!
