Robert, it you could see his images up close you would really see how your wheat photo is a great representation for how he moves his graphite. We love black and white (obviously!) If you ever decide to make those prints keep us in mind :-) You have a marvelous eye for photography and we so enjoy your art.

My husband is known for his graphite on essoed canvases. Very large canvases. This image is very much like what he does.

here are two of his drawings behind my daughter. We were getting them ready to transport across country

The sun was exactly right for this shot.  It kept the undergrowth of wheat shaded just enough, but popped the seed heads right out there for you to see them very well!  Glad you like it!
