Kimberly, this herd is off 3040/Round Grove and Edmonds over in Lewisville. When it's cool, in the mornings and again in the evenings, they are right along the road. In the heat of the day (even now that it's cooler during the day) they tend to collect under the trees in the center of the field.
Keep in mind they tend to be pretty shy and will move away if you approach the fence outright, but there are mesquite trees all along the fence where you can tuck in and still get good visibility. Also, I was warned not to wear red or to look them in the eye; not sure why but they're intimidating once you're out there and I was willing to do anything needed to keep them calm while trying to keep them close!! Have fun. I can't wait to see your results!
