i don't know how you captured so much, maggie. this is a LARGE expanse of beauty! for me, things that stand out are the distinct layers. first the rocks, then the green hills, then the teal hills, then the blue mountains. but the light on the rocks is incredible. i think there is a sharp contrast between the foreground and background that gives this photograph a special illustration-like quality!

This time, for some reason, it is the late afternoon light on the boulders that stands out for me against that striking blue distance!  Thanks for featuring this.  I love that space and enjoy being able to share it on Wiffledust!
