I took this photo in a state park in northern Wisconsin.  She was quite nonchalant about me getting close, so I think she was pretty used to people.  Hopefully she stayed in the park with her fawns and all is still right with the world.

  I know what you mean about the critters in cages thing. I like to find them in their natural habitat whenever I can, but the caged photos can be quite powerful too.

This is how I like to see animals, sans the cages. She was in the family way? Do you know what became of her and her little one/s?
