nice photo. I used to collect pieces of drift wood from beaches in California in the 70's and make seashell and driftwood wind chimes .. it was a requirement for maintaining my Hippie status :-)

Yes it is, Maryrose.  I found this about 5 blocks from my home here in Milwaukee on the shore of Lake Michigan.  It was probably gathered as kindling for a bonfire, but then was never used.  It's still there. ;-)
