That's part of the reason that I photograph old barns as often as I do. I too feel that bittersweetness and realize that the nostalgia is also a reminder of the passage of time. Sometimes it seems unbelievable to me that so many decades have passed. I've watched my parents grow old, my child grow up and myself become middle-aged. But, as my dad always says, I'm still looking at the green side of the grass and that's okay. Thanks for looking in Anthony. May all the years we have left be chock full of enjoyment!
