Lisa, this is an historical park near our neighborhood that I have never been to before.  I'd never looked for it or paid it any mind until this last Christmas when the city decorated it with Christmas lights.  We didn't go then either, just got caught in the horrid traffic jam!!  There's recently been expansion of the transit system through this area and that got me thinking about what they might do to protect the area and improve what's around it.  Finally yesterday, in a fit of cabin fever, I grabbed the camera and took off and that's just where I ended up.  Spent better than two hours there!!

And the neatest thing is, I found a few old buildings that hadn't been destroyed!!  They just relocated them to the park!!
