where creative minds can interact

Based on the first snapshot of my wife and I as newlyweds in July 1975, leaning on Poindexter, our 1967 Chevy Impala, in front of our 'garden level' apartment at 1900 Upton Avenue North, Mpls., MN 55411. I was 20. Bethann was 19. It was on the corner where my mom always said, "Lock your doors, bad neighborhood," as we entered the city, growing up. We were young and in love, so none of that mattered. During the six months we lived there, our car was stolen. My sexy Osh'Kosh overalls were stolen off the cllothesline in the laundry room and there was an attempted break in into the apt. on Thanksgiving.
Our first child was conceived there. It was wonderful!
