The other is in my data files for future albums. "Did You Notice" is about my family in many ways and There are nine of us kids..LOL! Thanks again my new friend...

thanks, lisa. having one person moved by a song is more than enough payment for any songwriter. to have so many people comment on my song was rewarding as well as getting to hear all the other contestants work.

i feel like the world of oklahoma has opened up to me in the last few weeks with so many wiffle/fb friends there that i've met in recent weeks. it's definitely on my list to visit soon, especially since it's one of only five i haven't gotten to.

No I think what happened was it was a friend request that I got an email notice about not a comment. I think she made the comment in the request like when you friend of FB. Anyway, I'm starting to get it. It' a little different than FB but I guess it's a nice change. blah blah blah etc and stuff like that... : )

About myself.. Hmmm; Southern Man born and bred (hopefully a gentleman). Play several instruments; currently in a band called "Happenstance" and play bass, sing, and write (we all sing and write) - [www.happenstance-music.com]. I found the page from a post on Facebook and followed the link. I know quite a few of the members here already, which is great and added a lot of validity for me. I regularly attend the Kerrville Folk Festival (Kerrville, TX) and Woodyfest (Okemah, OK) I really like very much the ideas and creativity expressed here - most of the folks are fearless! When we put ourselves "out there" we are taking a risk ... and how are we to know if the risk was worth taking if we don't get feedback? Feedback in any form in my opinion is letting the person who has shared of themselves know that yes, "I see you" and I like what and who I see.
