Sparkle Song in Memory of Elissa Hadley

r Music From: Caroline Aiken, Scott Simpson (formerly of Lenny), Jane Stebbins, Matthew Kahler, Kodac Harrison and Neal Fountain. Elissa Hadley passed away in the summer of 2006 after a battle with cancer. This event is a chance for her friends and family to gather and celebrate her life and her art. In the early 90′s, Elissa and her band Lenny were quite popular in the Athens music community. She also contributed vocals to Breathlanes, Aqualove, Andrew Hyra (of Billy Pilgrim), Shawn Mullins, Al Reingold, and Vigilantes Of Love. After she passed away, a friend of Elissa’s said: ” I won the lottery when Elissa came into my life. Even deeper than the obvious otherworldly talent, side-splitting sense of humor, and magnetic spark, Elissa was my once-in-a-lifetime true friend. "
