it's the fourth of july, 2012. what a wild time to be an american! but i am very grateful as the clock rings in another fourth of july for the bounty of this country. i a grateful for every american who has fought to make this idea a reality. i am grateful for the founding fathers. i am grateful for the humility in george washington who set the precedent for a democracy of the people instead of a monarchy. i'm grateful to thomas jefferson for his eloquent words in the declaration of inependence. i'm grateful for those who lost so much in signing it. i'm grateful to the brits for knowing when the point of diminishing return was. i'm grateful to every single american who has taken the words of the declaration of independence to heart and worked towards making this country a light of hope for the world. i pray that we may be worthy of the sacrifices of those who have gone before us and not squander our brotherhood on internal fighting after the point of it being productive. i wish all of you a happy healthy celebration of our nation's birthday!

amazing things to be grateful for. fresh fruit is very expensive now to the point where most people can't even have it. a disgrace in an abundant country. so it's something to be grateful for for sure. so is grace!

Fresh blackberries and the fact that in the summertime I will be able to get all the local fresh fruit I want for cheap!

Today, I am grateful for Lisa Wiffledust. Lisa is an amazing personality and she inspires me to participate in and explore my creative processes even when I am feeling flat, and Lisa encourages me to be proactive in other souls creative expressions ... we all love feedback when we post and share here. Thank you Lisa! And thank you for creating a space for all us creative people that have found our way to Wiffledust! Now, where is that donations button? Oh yes right over there ------> on the main page!

I spent a wonderful day with three of my favorite guys.  My father, who I love and appreciate more everyday!  My husband, who is the best father in the world for our daughter!  So much love, compassion, and understanding from a man that really had no father! Lastly, my Uncle John, a caring, sweet man who has never had children of his own.  He loves our girl so much!  Three blessings on this father's day!
