I love Stevie Wonder and lately his songs play in my head even when I'm not playing them on youtube.  His rhythms on uptempo songs are contagious and nobody else has his voice.  "Part Time Lover" is a favorite uptempo of his for me.

Lisa, I love the way Steve and Edie complement each other! I have been so excited tomhearmsome of their clips! Great stuff!

I'm listening to "Love Has Come for You" by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell..it's really good, you guys. Steve's banjo playing is very haunting, and Edie has a great folk voice. The songs are simple and sweet....sweet in a good way, not in a saccharine way. Check it out!

I love country singer Darryl Purpose's new CD, NEXT TIME AROUND.  He's touring and I wanted to see him but he didn't hit the NY metro area during his Northeast swing.  I'll just have to wait to get my CD signed. :|

Been listening to Amy Speace and Rod Picott since I bought their CD's when I saw them play last week.

"Small Potatoes" from CD's purchased last night at their show.

I've been listening to Charlie Christian, Laura Nyro, Mantovani, Errol Garner, Billy Eckstine, Johnny Hartman, Arthur Prysock, Gretchen Peters, the Turnpike Troubadors in the last couple of days. Oh and Other Lives.
