Jodie Ann, Thanks so much for the compliment on the photos. Albert Mudge is just one of the fortunate souls whose body was buried in the cemetery where we found all the bluebonnets. No kin to me.
It's an interesting cemetery and I should probably do a little research to see just how it started; my guess is it was a family burial ground at some point and the town took it over. When I was a kid it was just on one side of the highway, but now it's so big the highway splits it. Lots of huge old stones and monuments there.
I'm one of those really weird people that doesn't get wigged out in cemeteries. I actually find them rather peaceful.
jodie, i just wanted to stop by and tell you how much i truly appreciate you and all that you contribute to wiffledust. you are a wonderful gatherer of people, and a true support to all of the creators on here. i value you very very much. have a spandangled day, ya hear!? HUGS!...lisa
Good evening Jodie and thank you for such a loving comment of my blog and I can feel the hugs, just send them my way. I really need to apologize to Lisa and all the Wifflerdusters here as I've been preoccupied in Facebook (yes, I'm an addict) and other sources of social mediums connected to groups of support in Alzhiemer's Disease. I am work in progress balancing my time so I hope you and Lisa and everyone here will be understanding of my spastic moments and I welcome you with open arms to gather the colors along with us.
regarding the flower blossom- i planted that bulb and nutured it many a year so to me it seamed a totally living being and respondevous as sentient while i made the photo and if i may add wuz speaking to/with the little dear.
Thanks for the compliment, Jodie! Have you read "Mother Tongue" by Bill Bryson? The book is subtitled, "English, and how it got that way".

So sorry to hear about your circumstances. I know it's hard - my hubby isn't usually very demonstrative, but after over 36 years, I'm kind of used to it. Hope things resolve themselves! And thanks for "friending" me! : )
hi jodie ann....i don't want you to think i deleted your blog post. you put something in the blog section that was a comment for rick. so just repost as a comment to rick, ok? have a great day, jodie ann!!!

I've often meant to read more about her. I have read some articles about trying to find the island or plane remains. Almost as mysterious as the whole Lindbergh kidnapping!!!
