Phila. Folk Fest

I was greatly cheered by the array of young talent at the Festival this year - a truly talented and vibrant group of young performers including: The Decemberists, the Low Anthem, Chris Kasper, Dante Bucci and Angella Irwin. The wonderful writer Jack Hardy was there as well, as was Ellis Paul - as fine an artist as may be found! All in all a splendid weekend, despite the mud!

realizing a dream...

I believe..PERSISTENCE ..is a fitting word here. The vision of one person's determination to
reach out and make the world a better place....this doesnt happen alone..ever. We have the energetic support of ALL those who strive is this direction...SO let's keep going with THAT direction...

So, you want to know about Wiffledust, do you? Well, let me tell you what I know....

Lisa approached me in the spring of 2007 with news that she was working on a very cool project; and wanted to know if I'd like to get involved. She has very innovative ideas about "web radio"--what it can be when creative minds get a hold of an interactive website. So, of course I said yes! Lisa's awesome project!

Thanks to Lisa for creating a place for us to gather together and share all kinds of information! I'm glad to have something more on the intimate scale instead of dealing with Facebook and Myspace all the time. Look forward to chatting with everyone :)
