"Consider the lilies of the field ..." This is a photo of the most common of daylilies in our area. They are so common that people think they are native, though they are not. They have so naturalized that they are referred to by many as "ditch lilies". Each blossom lasts for only one day, then it is gone, only to be replaced by an equally beautiful one the next day. This is what Jesus was talking about. We can be generous with our goods, knowing that God will always supply each day what we need. No need to hoard or be greedy. I took this photo and then stirred, not to improve upon the lily, just to have some fun with God's box of crayons. These were in the driveway in the home of The King's Jubilee.
