Young Lady, I expect a report on my desk tomorrow morning, detailing the theme, mood and main characters of each of those movies you so carelessly left sitting unwatched......now get cracking!
Sorry I missed Valentine's Day, Lisa! I was at the best, kick-ass Celtic music festival around all that weekend. Then dragged a friend from TX back home with me and we were busy catching up.
Hey, can you tell me how to decorate my page?? Now that things are going to be a little calmer around here, I want to do a little "redecorating"! ; ) Hopefully get some more photos up, too. I've been missing my "muse".
Yes, I missed yesterday's haiku. Monsterfully busy day and night. Will make every effort to catch up tonight. If not tonight, Saturday looks very open right now so then for sure.
Thanks for the welcome and the invitation. What a cool idea and so creative. I'm looking forward to checking everything out. Hope you're having a good week.

I'm well, Lisa, and we survived the monsoon without incident! (Thank God!! We have a whole row of ancient fir trees along our side of our neighbor's property that make me nervous whenever we have high winds!)
Haven't heard any live music since Valentine's weekend, when we heard enough to keep me happy until the next time! LOL My favorites then were Rathkeltair http://www.rathkeltair.com/and the Brigadoons http://www.thebrigadoons.com/welcome.php. Two very different styles (Rath being a kind of eclectic mix of Celtic and rock and the Brigs, who are totally traditional), but both favorites of mine. Check out Albannach http://www.albannachmusic.com/ for tribal drums or Brother http://www.brothermusic.com/for a sort of new-agey sound, with bagpipes & digeridoos - interesting lyrics and I'd be willing to bet like nothing you've ever heard before.
Sadly, I just last week had to pass up seeing some friends from Canada who played the theater in Sellersville. The Glengarry Bhoys http://www.glengarrybhoys.com/ are another awesome band that you might want to give a listen to!
I OBEY! Looking forward to it. I probably can't comment much due to busy... life but I have enjoyed checking out everyone's articles and poems and such, just thought I should probably sign up already!
Netflix is GREAT for someone who watches movies, but we honestly don't much. I used to tape TV shows that we had to miss and then we'd forget about them. It's a waste that we spend what we do on HBO and Showtime for as much as we watch them. (I probably watch TCM as much as either of them put together!) Like I said, I'll have to check OnDemand and see if it's there. That's about the only way I'll see it.
Gulf Coast Highway is on my iPod and every single time it plays I cry!! The bluebonnets are supposed to be really pretty this year and I've heard they're already starting to bloom so they are early. That could mean a long bloom period so there will be lots of chances to get photos.
Gulf Coast Highway is on my iPod and every time it plays I cry!! Not sure why, but I feel the same sadness when I come across an old farmhouse that's falling down and see a rosebush or remnants of a flower border. Those little blooms standing all alone and unappreciated.
Good morrow all ye wiffledusters.....how is everyone this beautiful Sunday morning? I've been sitting on my front porch, drinking my coffee, watching the morning wake up to the accompaniment of some wonderful celtic music. Celtic music and Sunday mornings just seem to go hand in hand.
hey...like your current photo....,happy smile and those brown eyes...! somewhat/someway, this group story is reminding me of ,"The Merry Widows" ssoooo.....shakespeare lives on!!! I have completed every "welcome" I saw and it was fun for me because I "got into it", as in , viewing other's stuff. thanks for asking. And I have received your multiple "thanks"....thank you for thanking me....yikes!!
I think this photo makes me look about 20 years younger than I am! Hahahaha! It really is recent though (like a year or so ago) and just fussed with a bit in a photo edit program. I do like your smiling face, Lisa! You are a gorgeous, creative, amazing, lovely human being!
Brilliant Inventions - YES! I do believe you're right; I would have liked them. As it turns out, if it was Thursday night we were at the circus with certain little boys!!! : )
I am so going to have to put on my big girl panties and try to find your place in the daylight, then maybe I'd be more inclined to attempt a night run. I love house concerts and have vowed that my next house will have a great room, so that I can have them, too!!
Hi Lisa, I recently posted a link to this site from my MySpace blog. Sounds like the Brilliant Inventions concert went well. The video of them performing is great!
