who wants to take the following challenge? for ten days you need to spend an hour with an opposite point of view of your own, and then report back to us. this could mean an hour a day reading or listening to an opposite political voice than your own. it could mean hanging out with people who view a particular situation differently than you do. it could mean talking to someone you disagree with. etc. let's see what you come up with! who wants to try?

Ok, Wiffle, now that I've seen your 9/16 challenge -- this one would be pretty easy for me. For YEARS I've gathered sympathy from friends because I'm a Liberal Democrat and my husband is a STAUNCH Republican who watches Fox News a lot. (Some friends say I need no greater excuse for divorce.) So my challenge would be to watch Fox with him for an hour a day. Maybe even ask "What do you think about that?" during commercials.
