I am grateful for this website as facebook is doing who knows what to my account since sometime yesterday and I can't get on it..wondered how many of you were doing after the power outages...

Eternally grateful for my best friend, soulmate, 'love of my life', my husband!!  Tomorrow we will be married 11 years.  I have never had time move so quickly.  Our life together, with our daughter, is the greatest blessing! 

Grateful for family and for life.  A very dear friend of mine is losing her brother to cancer.  It makes you appreciate the health and well-being of your own family.  Grateful and praying....

Grateful for the love, friendship, and generosity of our family!  So blessed to have these very special people in our lives!!

Grateful that the lack of rain has left the beautiful orange and yellows on the trees a bit longer than usual.

today my gratitude is for the miracle of muscle relaxers ... yep, I am so grateful for the magic of  a small pill. I don't usually take any medications but at this place in time ... I welcome them!

I do read everyone's post here and you all bring a smile to my heart. Gratitude is such a loving gift to ourselves and others. Appreciation for life's little gifts is so simple with huge rewards within.

Grateful that I am able to find things to appreciate in life's simplicity.  Today at T*rget looking at all the brightly colored towels sorted and arranged in a rainbow made my sister and I smile.  Grateful to have been shopping with someone who understood how cool I thought it was.

sooo good to see you back here, maryanne. i can't wait until you feel well enough to submit more creativity from your wonderful self . take good care! margaret, i love looking at a big group of things in a bunch of colors too! :-) shopping can be an artistic experience at the right place. i'm grateful for a good night's sleep. i got tired much earlier than usual and didn't even know i WAS tired till i fell over! :-)

So grateful for the opportunity to rediscover photography!!  Enjoying the time I spend taking photographs and the support of my husband & daughter!!  A wonderful, creative outlet!! :-D

As we approach Thanksgiving, I am so grateful to be spending that day with my parents, my brothers, my 'sister', niece & nephews, aunt & uncle,and of course, my husband and daughter.  Not everyone has that gift to be surrounded by such wonderful and loving people to celebrate the holiday.  As I pray for those without family, I count my blessings...

well this morning i'm grateful for this little doggie i'm babysitting. she's cracking me up. she has decided that the dog in the mirror is someone she needs to stir up. and she's trying! strange thing is that the one in the mirror seems to bark at the same time she does!

FAMILY :-)  We laugh, we cry, we talk, we love, we yell, we hug, we're family!!

i'm grateful for a particular receptionist in my life who makes things that could be awful so much better just by her kindness

thanks, rita! this might sound weird in this modern world, but i'm grateful for tv. i don't watch it all the time. and i'm well aware that with the internet i can do without it. but there's something about the television that makes you feel connected to the big wide world that surely wasn't possible before there was tv. i'm very careful about what i watch, but if you consciously choose, there are some fantastic shows on tv. sure. it has done some bad things to us as a society. but it has also taken young people to far off lands and shown us animals we would have never seen otherwise, etc. i feel blessed to have so much culture a button away.

Grateful for a caring, loving husband who watches over me and makes me take care of myself!! 

i love what you're doing with the food drive,rita, and i'm grateful for it! and for all the people who are caring enough to FEED THE PEOPLE!

So grateful for this time of year! Cold, crisp, beautiful December filled with so many fun activities and family time!  Preparing is half the fun!!  The Holidays, we celebrate Christmas & Hanukkah, are filled with many blessings, a time to reflect on how lucky we truly are, and enjoy the warmth & love of family and friends!!  Feeling so grateful and counting blessings... 

i'm grateful for a warmer december than could have been. it's not only safer than early icy streets while people are out shopping, but this year people are having such trouble making ends meet. the government is reducing the amount of home heating help. and people need to stay warm. it's a blessing to not have the highest heating bills possible. esp for people in new england where they are cutting help the most right now. grateful for some help from nature for the peeps.

i'm grateful for cloudy mornings when i need sleep!! got some...and needed some!

So grateful for the ability to share, even the simplest things, with those around me!  I've been given so many gifts, all the year through, it is such a blessing to share with others!! Grateful to share the joy & love this holiday and everyday!!  :-)

I cannot be more grateful for the gift of having my brother around for Christmas!!  He won't be deployed until the end of January, so we get a Christmas together!!  I am also grateful that he will be deployed to Kuwait, rather than Afganistan!!  Prayers were answered!!  Grateful for all the Service Men & Women who are sacrificing their Christmas/Hanukkah away from their families while they protect us!  God bless them all!!

i'm so grateful for your brother's deployment to kuwait too, maryrose. that is much better! oh, rita, that is great news about the soup company!!! woo hoo! ...i'm very grateful today for love.

I'm grateful for the most simple things: spending a relaxing weekend the my husband and daughter, slot car racing, pizza, football, and feeling better.  Life has so many simple pleasures to offer us! 

I am grateful that so far this has been a mild winter with maybe 2 inches of snow...that is about to change but halfway through January it doesn't seem so bad..

Yes Maryrose the simple things are often the things that are the best part of life...always grateful for that !
