A place to celebrate what we're grateful for. It's fun to think about these things, and apparently it's good for your health too! Embrace your creativity! Go ahead and celebrate your gratitude for anything, no matter how big or small it may be!
I am grateful that I dont have a machine gun and a train ticket to Washington.
I am also grateful for all of the Angels on Earth who worked so hard and saved my wife from leaving our family
i hear ya on the washington thing, gary. things are not going well there. i'm grateful you're contained too! ;-) and i'm so grateful eve is doing so well. AND i'm grateful for all the kind doctors and dentists out there who are helping people who can't afford this insane system.
i'm grateful that we have a system of government that allows us to tell them how bad they are messing up and to step in and change what's happening. i'm also grateful for muffins.
I think I need this group. It's a good idea with all that is going on to think of at least one thing a day that I am grateful for. I also look forward to reading the rest of the post.
My number one thing ( although I think he would be offended if I could him a thing) would be my husband who treats me like the princess I am . I mean really , who else would put up with my antics.
there is nothing better than a GOOD MARRIAGE! i'm grateful you have that too, ericka! and i'm grateful that you joined. when i'm in my worst moods, i always feel better when it think of what i'm grateful for. we work with what we have and build from there....
I am going to have to dig deep today for something to be grateful but here it goes. I am grateful for my beagle Annie who not so long ago was really ill. She is back to her healthy neurotic self and as I type this very moment she is sitting on my feet keeping them warm.
oh that's a good thing, ericka! it was one of those days, wasn't it? but there's always something. i'm really grateful for small things today that are not small at all. fresh bread. hot tea. heat. blank paper and a pen that works. stuff like that.
I am grateful today that I had 3 days in a row that I have energy and finally a positive look for the future....instead of pretending in order to get from one day to the next!
I am grateful that my sore throat seemed to be a passing thing. Usualy not a big deal but everyone at work has been sick and I am going on a long trip very soon . I did not want to be sick and jetlagged.
i'm grateful for the kindness in alot of people. sometimes it's hard to find, but when you do, it's the BEST thing. and it reminds me to want to be kind. it's not that hard to make a MAJOR difference in someone's day...
I am grateful today for the same thing that I have been grateful for since Eve came home from the hospital. Waking up with her next to me and being able to spend another day together
Past: I'm grateful for my kick ass 2010 year. Present: I'm grateful for all that I am and I all that God has given me. Future: I'm grateful for the year 2011 and all that I'm going to create. This is going to be my year!
i'm incredibly grateful for heat this morning after having to be without it due to a broken heater for a short period of time!!! you can't take heat for granted on a cold winter day in the northeast! i'm also soooo grateful that Congresswoman Gabby Giffords opened her eyes among friends...and demonstrated health beyond expectation!
I'm so grateful to Target for donating journals to my 2011 Donation-Give Away Journal Project. On my way now to go pick them up. Thank you, God, thank you!
i'm grateful for you guys telling the things you're grateful for! why? because it lifts my spirits!!!! lillian, that's WONDERFUL about target! how'd you get that to happen???
Yes Lisa, it is wonderful that stores like Target are so supportive to such worthy causes. A lot of our big chain stores are supportive of educational and artistic works. Simple show up in person & ask to speak to the HR person or manager...give your business card... and a formal letter head expressing your cause...you know the details of intention, objective, etc. Lots will say go speak to corporate or they will for you and get back to you. Some say flat out they do not donate. This is a good one for your marketing section. LOL L. Hope this helps others.
i'm grateful today for thomas jefferson, for zuckerberg, and for the determination of the egyptian people....not sure we would have had today without any of the three. prayers for the future for egypt and the world.
Grateful for solitary drives in the car with great music on full blast. It's these little things in between the BS we all deal with on a daily basis that get us through.
hi ericka! thanks for stopping by.i honestly believe writing down some gratitudes makes for happiness! YES, those quiet meditative moments helps us center and build back!
i'm so grateful today for the simplest of things. japan is suffering so much as is every country hurt by this tsunami. water, food, clean clothes are so hard for them to find. i'm so grateful just for clean water to drink and some food and shelter. it's everything. may God bless those people and help us to help them!
Grateful for MY LIFE ! when you see what is going on all over the world and watching on TV what is going on in Japan just going to get a drink of water out of the faucet is a blessing..roof over my head and that all my loved ones are safe ...
Wow, how perfect is this! Just yesterday I set up a slideshow to my song of thanksgiving,"The Thousand Little Things". I'm thankful for the thousand little wondrous gifts beyond all the others I remember to be thankful for each day. Off to pst the video...
With all the tragic events happening in the world, I am more than grateful for all that I have: a loving husband, a beautiful daughter, my parents, my siblings and other close family that I love so very much!! I have a home, food, clothes, my time & talents to give back, and most of all, my faith in God that He is there in this time of need!
i'm grateful for the talent of the songwriters i've been listening to for our songwriting contest. each one of them is talented, and it's such a joy to be able to share in that!
I am so very grateful for the friendship and love I feel today on my birthday! It's overwhelming to see so many reach out just to wish me well!!! I am so very blessed.....
we love you, maryrose! i'm so very grateful that you are in my world but also for your wonderful participation here on world of wiffledust. this is a community that depends on the participation of the people. you are making a difference in the world of independent arts! love to you!
the sun is shining the morning coffee was good and two of my wonderful cats shared my lap while I read the paper...of course just reading the paper makes me grateful for all I have....
I am grateful that I am finding alternative healers who are MDs to help me regain my health. For the past 6 months since my heart attack, my only options have felt like get off all my meds and die....or take them and die...but more slowly.
I am so grateful that I can have an hours long conversation with a Kenyan friend working to preserve wildlife where he lives and remembering that there is so much more that unites us than divides us.
Grateful for the wonderful day I got to spend with my parents. The fun I still have with my Mom! Being able to watch my daughter and my Mom together! Having a fun family dinner to celebrate our birthdays! Feeling the love....
So grateful for being able to get away with my family and enjoy the full bounty of spring. A lesson on history was another plus. Sometimes we need to charge those tired batteries, and not worry about a thing but fun. Family, laughter, great food, and an amazing place to tour-makes me very thankful indeed!
