A place to celebrate what we're grateful for. It's fun to think about these things, and apparently it's good for your health too! Embrace your creativity! Go ahead and celebrate your gratitude for anything, no matter how big or small it may be!
this is a great idea for a group, helen! thanks! i'm grateful for YOU and all the creative members here who are building a community. truly. so much of creating this site was on faith that there were like minded people out there. and THERE ARE!!!! i'm also grateful for the great people i work with...you among them!!!
Aw shucks, thanks Lisa! I am so grateful for you, too! You have taken so much time and effort to make this possible, and no matter how hard it got you carried on fighting for the good of creativity :)
I am also grateful for being able to spend time with such cute kitties as a volunteer at my local SPCA. I go every Sunday, and somehow do manage to come home WITHOUT more additions to the family ;)
I am grateful that all this rain wasn't snow :-)
I am also grateful to be able to have a place to share my creativity....and be inspired by like minded others.
great things to be grateful for, ruth! we dont' have wildflower bread company to my knowledge. but i hope we get it. i hope we get something through congress too!
Greatful for friends and family, for a busy, crazy life, for good health and mostly for CAFFINE. Keeps things hoppin' when I feel like droppin'.............
it's weird that you said this, sherry, because yesterday i was just thinking that choices are everything. especially for creative people. so it isn't money that brings us happiness. it's some degree of choice. perhaps not TOO many choices. i've heard that we get unhappy as a s pecies when there are TOO many. then we feel like all of our choices are not good enough. but some degree of choice is essential for being a happy human.
There are times when the choice I have made has not been to my benefit...but at least I stepped up to the plate and swung.
There are many women in the world who cannot make choices....even women in this country who find themselves with children to feed and not enough money. Choices are slim.
I occasionally have a pity party for myself because I am alone....but I can pick up and travel or do whatever I please. I have good health, and am fortunate indeed. Right now I am in decision making process of whether I want to go to France to hang out with the gypsies at a site that pays homage to Django Reinhardt. It is called Samois. Checking airfare and particulars right now!!!
there are times in life when we're alone to develop something internal and other times we're busy sharing. but we're never truly alone. we're all part of one family. open hearts, open hands and sunshine, susie! so so true. i'm watching the sun pour into the windows where i sit from just coming in from outside. and it's truly sparkling. and ONE person with an open hand and open heart makes the whole day worthwhile.
that's beautiful, susie. all things ARE possible! i'm grateful for that sweet smell that is starting to "be" in the air. i have all the windows open, and i'm incredibly grateful for the preview of spring.
Grateful for a chance to hang out with family tomorrow. Grateful I will get a chance to see one of my grand daughters! So you KNOW I'll be posting more pictures soon!
So much to be grateful for if we just take the time to remember. Thankful for sunshine today, and trees and flowers blooming. For my two little dogs, sleeping like babies. My children, who sometimes make my heart skip beats with their antics but who I love dearly. My husband, for getting up every day and working on our behalf. Oh, and my strong, hot cup of coffee, which I have time to enjoy.
This is great, Lisa. Now I'm ready for the day to begin!
helen, how do you get away with no shoes at work? that's so fun! me too, but i work at home. dorraine, what a rich picture....! that's ALOT of things to be grateful for. no wonder so much good stuff comes pouring out of you!
I think it comes from the messy winters we have and not wanting to bring all the snow and slush into the office, but instead of changing shows at work, a lot of us just take our shoes off! Great for me! I'm not a shoe person.
i'm an all or nothing shoe person. i'm grateful for just socks and grateful for fun girlie shoes. practical in betweeners have very little appeal to me. although i think that's all i'm good at walking in these days. waa
