Hey Writers! This is not so much a discussion group as a place where we are going to post writing challenges. I will be posting a challenge here at least once a week. Sometimes more often. New Creative Writing Challenge, Folks...#2! You can still do #1....but here is #2. (by the way I will repost the exercises above in the discussion area.

Take this famous movie Casablanca quote "Here's lookin' at you, kid" and incorporate it into a dialogue. The writing can be anything you want, but the quote needs to be part of a conversation. Good luck!

this is wonderful, robert, but it has to go in the blog space. you're not the only one doing this. it's in the directions of the group. folks, answers don't go here. they go in the blog space with this particular group. in other groups it's a discussion. but this is not a discussion. this is just a place to put the exercise!!! thanks!

i feel sorta out of my league here, with all these fabulous writers. but i'm taking on these challenges for my own personal growth! my task here is not to write the best piece, but simply write and share, so i'll grow in my own self-expression.

karrie, i'm SO glad you posted this. i've had some other people tell me this too. i don't think of myself as the world's gift to wrtier'dom. and i don't think anyone here feels that they are competing with anyone else. i think we're all here to just get moving and continuing to honor our gifts whatever they are. you are a fine writer...don't doubt it. the challenges are designed for everyone to have a nudge to keep writing!
