oh i LOVE stuff like this! i'm so glad you told me about it. i'm one of those "Babe" kind of people. and i love art in the movies whether it be a good period costume piece or puppets or animation or....well, art. looking forward to this! ........you know what i saw AGAIN (my old movie thing) the other day? barefoot in the park with robert redford and jane fonda. i LOVE that little movie. not only does it have great dialogue from neil simon, but the acting is so terrific!!!

oh bummer about Tell No One. so many times the movie just can't measure up to the book. in a few cases it can. to kill a mockingbird, gone with the wind, the color purple. yes. at least i think so. but most of the time, it's a quick way to make a few dollars. i've heard that eat pray love is pretty good. ....i'm with you on jim carey, elle. he's cartooney. i like him as a person and when he's interviewed. but not in the movies.

Oh, Stephen. =:O I don't care much for Jim Carey. (Rates right up there with Alex Baldwin, only there are a FEW of his movies I like - Liar, Liar comes to mind.)

And I'm SO sad to report that I ordered that movie I told you all about a few weeks ago - Tell No One - and we watched it this weekend. As much as I loved the book, the movie was rather ho-hum and I have a feeling that anyone who HASN'T read the book might get lost in some places. Not to mention all that was such an integral part of the story line in the book that was left out of the movie. Quite a disappointment.

haha. my faves , i admit, are the old ones. so i'm not the best person for knowing what's the latest and greatest. i tend to gravitate towards the classics. the other night i treated myself to "to kill a mockingbird" again. it wasn't the first or even second time i'd seen it. but the movie is so great that it touches me in a different way every time i see it. if there is anyone who hasn't seen it , it has to go on the must see list!
